Judgement: Incomplete
This is a drawing I started about 2 years ago and never finished. I came across it while doing my somewhat annual clean-up.
I still quite like the idea of all these pairs of eyes, all focused in bitter judgement on one particular pair in the middle. That estranged pair looks directly into your (the viewer's) eyes, almost anticipating the same adversity. But we have no qualm with that particular set of eyes. What could it have possibly done that could be so bad? It's just one set among many, all seemingly connected to each other in one giant, messy knot of consciousness.
I'd like to think that this is how 'God' (at least in a hypothetically personal form) might see us humans, all the while wondering what the fuss was about...
