The exhibition...

Last weekend we held this exhibition for the drawing class. It was an interesting experience. We didn't sell much. Many were charging too much I think. Thanks to my family and friends I managed to get rid of a few. Below was the corner of the hall I occupied, followed by a few of my favourite pieces from the show.

The weekly class I attend is having an exhibition at Parkhurst Recreation Centre, one weekend only, opening on Friday 7 May. I'll have a few pastel and charcoal pieces up for sale (cheap!), and a couple of sketch books for the perusal of clean-fingered observers. Hope to see you there...

We had two slender models today - two one-hour drawings. I'm back in the sketchbook until I sort my shit out.




PS. Am very aware of the current blog neglect. I have stuff in the pipelines though. Get ready for an unleashing... Some day.

Thursday morning's figure drawing session... H and 4B in A4 Moleskine... Not the best session. Omitted a few. I get a bit thrown off by two people. Especially when they're so enthusiastic as this pair. I think they practice at home.
